Established in 1948, Dublin University Photography Association (DUPA) is the photography society of Trinity College Dublin. We offer members the opportunity to improve their photography skills, while providing a forum for exhibiting their work. The annual Christmas Exhibition is a much anticipated event.

Mimesis Theatre Company following the success of their first production 'MORT' presents to you "What the Dickens is Wilde doing here?". This is a theatrical regaling of some of Charles Dickens and Oscar Wildes most memorable tales. From one very excitable Remarkable Rocket to some rather terrifying Christmas Goblins, climb into the books with us for a warm and hearty night of entertainment with hot beverages, baked goods and stories to suit everyones taste.

246 Letters is a play about love, war, and destroying all trace of people you used to know.
A new play written by Jane Madden, 246 Letters is the latest production from critically acclaimed production company Daguerreotype.
Staring Barry Morgan and Bri Fitzpatrick and Directed by Dan Bergin.
The show runs from November 25th to December 2nd.

Jewellery Box - Irelands Hidden Gems

Daragh Muldowney of Dúlra Photography renowned nature photographer, will be opening his art exhibition and launch of his book, “Jewellery Box – Irelands Hidden Gems” on Wednesday 10^th of November from 6-9pm at the Back , c/o La Catedral Studios, Dublin 8.

Colin Stafford-Johnson from RTE's 'Living the Wildlife', who will be launching the exhibition said, “Daragh’s work captures a modern take on Ireland ’s wonderful marine resource at our doorstep. The outstanding collection of photographs from rock pools taken in seventeen coastal counties of Ireland , shows his exceptional photographic technique and ability to see beyond the norm”.

The book also entitled Jewellery Box – Irelands Hidden Gems, will feature over thirty images taken in rock pools throughout Ireland and will be available to purchase at the exhibition. As an inspiration for everyone interested in rock pooling, Daragh said, “The photographs for the exhibition and book have brought back wonderful childhood memories, exploring pools where tiny creatures in their own magical world kept me entertained for hours. I now am looking forward to sharing the images with those that are interested in our shores”.

Dr. Prannie Rhatigan, author of Irish Seaweed Kitchen, will be also be giving a presentation at the Jewellery Box – Irelands Hidden Gems exhibition on Thursday the 18^th November about the Secret Rock Pool Life and a demonstration on seaweed and their nutritional values.
